Popcorn Time with VPN and Better Chromecast Streaming

Time4Popcorn has released a new beta version of their app, Popcorn Time. Popcorn Time is an Android app for streaming movies. The new version, 2.1, has better support for Chromecast devices and also VPN protection. Popcorn Time users have previously connected through ExpressVPN and other VPN services to protect their streaming activities.

Popcorn Time TV Streaming

Popcorn Time users were able to stream movies to their TVs with previously added support for Chromecast. Chromecast devices could be used to make the connection for more comfortable viewing. A lot of people want to stream movies to their TVs, but don’t have or don’t want accounts with streaming services like Netflix. Users of the app need to update to beta version 2.1 to use the TV streaming feature. At first, streaming with Chromecast devices was not that great. Now it doesn’t take so long for movies to load. The experience is much smoother with this update.

Built In VPN Support for Popcorn Time

Popcorn Time users have been loading personal VPNs onto their Android devices to protect their streaming activities. Services like ExpressVPN have helped them shield their streaming from ISP snooping to avoid bandwidth throttling. Now Popcorn Time has its own VPN. The VPN masks downloading and streaming on the app.

Popcorn Time is also now compatible with more devices than before, so anyone with Android 4.0, or Ice Cream Sandwich, and above can use the app. Previously, only users of Jelly Bean (Android 4.2) and above could use Popcorn Time.UK TV
